Damiano David from Måneskin is Diesel's first Global Ambassador
Måneskin frontman Damiano has been appointed as Diesel's first Global Ambassador. And creative director Glenn Martens already has a capsule collection planned with him.
«I am very very happy and proud. I think that Glenn Martens and I have the same mindset" these are the words of Damiano David - frontman of the rock band Måneskin - on the first contents shared on social media by Diesel . And this is also the first time that the brand of Renzo Rosso's OTB group presents its first global brand ambassador in the history of Diesel.
«Damiano has a very strong style. I think it reflects particularly well the way I want to see people today" says Glenn Martens in the video shared that accompanies the announcement. An outstanding energy, an electrifying charisma and an unmistakable voice. Damiano perfectly embodies the individual represented by Diesel, a non-conformist man who conveys messages of freedom and inclusiveness. Already from the MET Gala 2024 we could sense that something was cooking. During the inauguration of the exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute 2024, the singer and style icon Damiano alongside his girlfriend Dove Cameron wore a Diesel look designed by Glenn Martens.
In addition to being involved together with Diesel in the role of global brand ambassador, Damiano will also sign the start of a genderless creative collaboration which will be revealed by the end of the year with a capsule collection designed by Damiano and Glenn Martens.
