Symbol of tradition and rebellion, tartan returns as the protagonist of the men's wardrobe for spring summer 2025 , reinterpreted in a contemporary and versatile way. From its Scottish origins to the punk movement, up to sartorial elegance, the checked motif crosses eras and styles, appearing on structured coats, check suits and oversized jackets.
Maisons like Celine and Emporio Armani elevate it to a statement of character, while Burberry and Vivienne Westwood bring it back to its most authentic roots. And from the men's fashion shows we find the new version of Louis Vuitton's Damier designed by Pharrell Williams, but also the elegant and minimal check by Alexander Mathiussi of Ami Paris. Between graphic distortions - like those of Homme Plissé Issey Miyake - fluid cuts and material contrasts, tartan enters menswear with a bold and refined attitude, perfect for those who love to experiment between heritage and innovation.
