Ricky Martin speaks for the first time about the end of his marriage
Ricky said he wants to enjoy life and more.
Ricky Martin has spoken out for the first time about his recently announced divorce from Jwan Josef. At 51, Rick said he is single , wants to enjoy life and that the decision to end his marriage "wasn't recent".
“By the time the public found out, we had already gone through a grieving process. Jwan and I will always be a family. We have two children that we will be raising together, and this is not a recent decision. We have been planning this situation for a long time, it is pre-pandemic. We look into each other's eyes and smile, hug, go through ups and downs, cry together and laugh together. It was seven or eight years [with Jwan],” revealed Ricky.
“I want to have fun, I want to enjoy life… Take it easy, but yes, I see myself in another relationship. I'm not talking about the near future, but I like being in love, I like being in a relationship, I like waking up in the morning with a morning kiss, breakfast and complicity ”, completed the singer.
On child custody, the Puerto Rican star said: “My children will never become a fight between Jwan and me. That's why we settle our differences with a good conversation."
