With her Brazilian and native Chilean heritage, Jessica May brings a rich cultural perspective to her work in holistic wellness and sustainability. Originally from Miami, she relocated to Ibiza in 2016, where she immersed herself in the study of holistic health and nutrition, embraced motherhood, and became a passionate advocate for regenerative farming.
A firm believer in the power of Nutrient-Dense (NUDE) living, Jessica is dedicated to sharing her knowledge on nourishing both the body and the planet. Through engaging content and curated events, she inspires a deeper connection to healing, growth, and conscious living.
My personal style is best described as colourful and tomboyish.
The last thing I bought and absolutely loved was my castor oil pack, which includes organic cotton reusable pads and organic cold-pressed castor oil in a glass container.
The next thing on my wishlist is a HEPA air purifier.
My style icons: Athena Calderone (Eyeswoon), Stella McCartney, Aaliyah, Gwen Stefani in the ’90s.
My work has taught me the importance of taking time to connect with nature and its rhythm. I love socialising and creating, yet I can easily get caught up in constant activity and lose my sense of being, which ultimately leads to burnout.
My work icon/mentor is Erika Tangari. She’s the only person I trust to feed me blindly. She embodies nutrient-dense living—delicious, artistic, wise, and deeply conscious of both our health and the planet. Boom!
My carry-on essentials: Spirulina by ENERGYbits and bone broth sachets.
In Ibiza, we need to be extra mindful of mould exposure and mindful water consumption.
My favourite Ibiza beach: Cala Llonga—perfect for kids, with great restaurants, a playground, and scenic hiking trails.
My secret spot: Under a carob tree on our pomegranate farm.
My go-to party companion: My husband.
The best place to dance in Ibiza: Set Me Free classes with Pilar Zúñiga. I’ve actually cried after one of her classes from sheer release and joy. 100% high vibes!
I couldn’t live without: A kitchen and Pilates.
My top Ibiza souvenir: A temazcal ceremony with Maria Valdivia.
For a lunch date, I’d go to: El Bigotes.
If I could encourage people in Ibiza to do one thing, it would be to eat locally and organically. Nearly 80% of our food is imported from the mainland!
A recent island discovery: Ses12Naus—a foundation dedicated to contemporary art and creation in Ibiza.
My Ibiza life truly began when I found out I was pregnant here nine summers ago.
Something I would never part with: Clean, nutrient-dense food and my journal.
My favourite apps:
EWG – Great for clean living! You can scan or search any food or product (from skincare to household items) and see its rating, full ingredient list, and an explanation of why it’s rated that way.
iHerb – I can order all my favourite health products that aren’t available in stores here.
MWH – Perfect for quick, effective workouts at home or on the go.
A great book I read recently: The Pivot Year by Brianna Wiest.
If I weren’t a mother, I would have been a DJ.
Ibiza in three words: fertile, forgiving, wild.
