Bob Dylan Stars in Hedi Slimane's Latest 'Portrait of a Performer' Series
For his ongoing "Portrait of a Performer" project, Celine's Image Director Hedi Slimane took exclusive photographs of the world-renowned musician, Bob Dylan.
The latest subject of Hedi Slimane's “Portrait Of A Performer” series, is one of the world's most influential rock stars, Bob Dylan. Shot in Malibu, Dylan poses with his guitar as he wears some of the latest Celine designs: an iconic black, leather jacket, slim jeans, and signature aviators.
The 81-year-old musician has made music history throughout his career, winning 10 Grammy Awards, six entries in the Grammy Hall of Fame, the Nobel Prize for Literature, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Dylan has been one of the most beloved artists since the beginning of his career in the early 1960s.
Slimane is taking it old-school with his emphasis on legendary rock performers. He has also photographed Paul Banks and Julian Casablancas for his project.
