Papi Steak

HOLLYWOOD AND OPULENCE WITH VEGAS SAUCE

Papi Steak, known for its extravagance and unforgettable dishes, fuses the energy of an upscale steakhouse with the drama of a nightclub. Founded in 2019 by David Grutman and David “Papi” Einhorn, Papi Steak has quickly become a Miami sensation, revolutionizing the classic steakhouse concept. At the heart of its success is the famous “Papi Steak,” a perfectly grilled tomahawk presented in a gold case accompanied by a dazzling show that includes waiters, music and lasers. This theatrical touch embodies the essence of the brand: a meeting of fine dining and nightlife. Designed by Rockwell Group, the Las Vegas property reflects the glamour of old Hollywood with a decidedly modern twist. Guests are greeted by a dramatic entrance framed in champagne brass and red velvet curtains, with turquoise lacquer doors opening to a dim, starlit rotunda. Instagram-ready alcoves adorned with custom floral wallpaper and illuminated glass flowers set the scene for a glamorous evening. Inside, the bar wows with a cascading crystal chandelier and brass arches, while a DJ booth keeps the vibe electrifying. The main room elevates the experience with tiered seating, red velvet banquettes and turquoise accents. The space comes alive during the signature steak presentations, where lasers and music transform the room into a theatrical spectacle. While the ambiance is undeniably captivating, Papi Steak’s menu is equally impressive. Drawing on Einhorn’s beloved recipes, the restaurant offers a refined selection of premium meats and bold flavors, paired with innovative garnishes and signature cocktails. Papi Steak at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas is not just a restaurant: it is a show, a celebration and a tribute to the city's reputation as the ultimate destination for luxury and extravagance.

Murals at The Plaza

ART ON A LARGE SCALE

The Plaza Hotel & Casino has become a mainstay of downtown Las Vegas’ burgeoning art scene, with a series of three monumental murals decorating its North Tower. Internationally renowned artists Shepard Fairey and D Face unveiled two 21-story-high works, followed by a third by Brooklyn duo Faile. The massive murals add a vibrant artistic touch to the Plaza while preserving its historic charm. Arguably the largest murals ever installed on a single building, they offer a unique cultural experience for visitors. Shepard Fairey’s “Cultivate Harmony” conveys a message of peace and sustainability through its bold imagery, making the Plaza the largest building he has painted in Las Vegas. Faile’s “Tribute to Cassius Marcellus” pays homage to Cassius Marcellus Coolidge’s famous Dogs Playing Poker. Spanning the North Tower, the work fuses high and low culture, making it the duo’s largest mural to date. D Face’s “Behind Closed Doors” reflects his fascination with hotel life, offering a glimpse into the ephemeral world of hotel guests and their stories. The mural is the artist’s fifth in the neighborhood and his largest to date, contributing to the visual narrative of Las Vegas’ vibrant street art scene.
