Miu Miu: Tales & Tellers

"Tales & Tellers" is an immersive art project, conceived by artist Goshka Macuga and curated by Elvira Dyangani Ose, which will take place at the Palais d'Iéna. The project includes screenings, conversations and site-specific installations that explore the different facets of contemporary femininity. The "Tales & Tellers" panels bring together filmmakers and artists to discuss their personal journeys, transformations in contemporary life and the evolution of the concept of femininity. The aim is to highlight the power of storytelling and active involvement of spectators. This project demonstrates Miuccia Prada's commitment to combining fashion and art, using fashion as a platform for artistic expression.

Paul Maheke's solo exhibition

Galerie Sultana presents a monographic exhibition by Paul Maheke , "Vert petri d'eau". The installation includes new works that question rationality, exploring esoteric forms of perception and knowledge. Inspired by the sound of the peridot gemstone, the exhibition highlights the influence of invisible entities. A silk membrane envelops the space, reacting to the movements of visitors and distorting almost imperceptible silhouettes. These faces, linked to uncertain stories, evoke a sense of the invisible, beyond ordinary perception.

The grotesque, the bad, and the ugly

Featuring artists Jamian Juliano-Villani and Diego Marcon and moderated by writer Paul Clinton, this conversation addresses the influence of the rejection of traditional beauty in art, inspired by Arthur Rimbaud 's "A Season in Hell" (1873). Rimbaud's rejection of beauty as "bitter" initiated an artistic revolution that embraces the grotesque and the ugly, a tradition continued by artists such as Marcel Duchamp and Isa Genzken. The panel will explore how contemporary artists continue to challenge the boundaries of art, questioning aesthetic conventions.
