Tiffany & Co. Collaborates with Artist Paul Rousteau to Adorn the Opéra Garnier

It is an event that attracts all eyes for Parisians and fashionistas passing through during Paris Fashion Week. Since this Sunday, October 1, the Opéra Garnier has swapped its carvern signed JR with a new trompe-l'oeil facade. This time, it's the iconic Sixteen Stone ring from Tiffany & Co. — a creation signed by the brand's legendary designer, Jean Schlumberger — which is taking up residence in the heart of the capital. A precursor of collaborations between the world of art and that of jewellery, Tiffany & Co. has always surrounded itself with the talent of the greatest: Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Daniel Arsham... Today, the house is taking over the Opéra Garnier to bring together the work of two great creators: Jean Schlumberger and Paul Rousteau. Because Tiffany has two loves: artists and Paris!

The Opéra Garnier symbolizes a return to roots for the House of Tiffany. More than a century ago, in 1910, on Place de l'Opéra, Tiffany & Co. opened its first Parisian flagship store.

Today, the facades of the Opéra Garnier are coming back to life. Tiffany & Co. showcases its iconic Sixteen Stone ring, with a new work created by Paul Rousteau , continuing the story that began a few months earlier at the Louvre. "When Tiffany suggested that I showcase the Sixteen Stones ring on the facade of the Opéra Garnier, I immediately thought of movement, of dance... The facade of the Opera, proud, rich and imposing begins to dance, free and light, around a sacred ring. This ring, with the help of its magical powers, attracts the most beautiful Parisian monument" , reveals the artist.
