<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/virginie-viard-leaves-chanel-creative-director" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chanel</a> unveils its Autumn-Winter 2024/25 pre-collection campaign shot by Karim Sadli and starring Emmy-nominated actor and model <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/leonardo-dicaprio-relationship-dating-history-camila-morrone-gisele-bundchen-blake-lively" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Camila Morrone</a>. The cinematic campaign, set against the backdrop of a Parisian restaurant, expresses itself with a series of black and white images in which the star exudes 40s Hollywood glamour.

It is an era that fascinates Camila Morrone. "I would watch these films in complete awe of the female protagonists, like Rita Hayworth in Gilda. There was such a seduction, class, power in the clothes they wore,&rdquo; she says. &ldquo;They looked like true movie stars, they didn&rsquo;t show too much skin, and yet, they were as seductive as can be. That&rsquo;s what the French woman does so well.&rdquo; The looks she wears &ndash; a long black openwork velvet dress, a leather outfit, a silk chiffon top and a skirt with a bow motif &ndash; showcase the subtle play of cut-outs and transparency. While tweed is reimagined into a vest top with a scoop neckline, other house signatures like camellias, embroidered bows, jewelled buttons, chains, and pearls stand out against the Belle &Eacute;poque d&eacute;cor with their simplicity.

Pared down yet strikingly captivating, the collection also explores the exchange between feminine and masculine codes. As a fan and muse of the house, Camila Morrone shares that the duality is what makes Chanel dear to her: &ldquo;I have always gravitated to classic silhouettes that tapped into subtle femininity. Whether it&rsquo;s exposing the d&eacute;colletage, or accentuating the waistline. Within that, I still love the feel of a masculine look, the weight of the material and the structure to it. I love the contrast of the two.&rdquo;
