Carven's Minimalism for Autumn-Winter 2024
Discover the Carven collection for autumn winter 2024/25 by Louise Trotter on L'Officiel.
For her second collection at Carven , Louise Trotter continues her momentum and imagines a fashion where tailoring is king through jackets and coats with pronounced shoulders and worked volumes. The blouses are worn inside out and are low-cut at the back, the skirts are often straight without ever being tight and sometimes flare, the dresses play with elegant transparency and the loose pants are worn high-waisted with nonchalance. We obviously find the bustier here and there. The Carven woman is not skimpy. Louise Trotter offers accessories like a cultured pearl drop at the bottom of the back, a frayed necklace, silk satin boots, pillow bags and slipper ballet flats as soft as a duvet. You don't have to know how to read cards to assume that they will be sold out as soon as they arrive in store. Carven's new wardrobe blurs between day and night because elegance has no time. This autumn-winter 2024-2025 fashion show is also an opportunity for the designer to unveil a new logo inspired by a couture label from 1945, the year the house was founded, including the historic address of 6 Rond-Point. Champs Elysées. After its preface, Carven's story with Louise Trotter has just begun its first chapter brilliantly.
