H&amp;M has collaborated with one of India&#39;s leading designers, Anamika Khanna, to bring a modern take on the colourful Indian craft. The collection will be available in stores and online from 5 September 2024.

The collection features soft, flattering silhouettes, filled with bright colours, rich prints and intricate hand-embroidered details. Womenswear is elegant, with layered skirts, light kaftans with asymmetrical hems, and silk pyjamas. Menswear is refreshed with graphic prints, while many prints are inspired by paintings, elevating the youthful and comfortable sportswear.

Ann-Sofie Johansson, creative advisor at <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/hm-and-rokh-collaboration-women-men-collection" target="_blank" rel="noopener">H&amp;M</a>, said: &ldquo;Anamika Khanna designs clothes that encourage the wearer to express their individuality. The silhouettes are often soft and layered, with a highly personal touch. The prints are also very interesting, combining traditional shapes and colours with modern graphic elements. She is also a master of contrasts, combining feminine and masculine elements to create something completely new.&rdquo;
&ldquo;I have always felt that Indian fashion is out of place when interpreted by the world outside India,&rdquo; says designer Anamika Khanna. &ldquo;Often our fashion &ndash; with its culture, heritage, craftsmanship and traditional techniques &ndash; is seen as kitsch or lacking in modernity. However, things have changed a lot, and this collection with H&amp;M allows me to bring a new, contemporary Indian touch to the global stage.&rdquo;

Designer Anamika Khanna launched her label in 1998 and was the first Indian designer to appear on the Paris Fashion Week calendar. She is known for her unique style that combines craftsmanship, modern tailoring and luxury loungewear. She is also the second Indian designer, after Sabyasachi Mukherjee in 2021, to work with H&amp;M on a high-profile collaboration with the brand &ndash; and the launch of this collection will mark 10 years of H&amp;M in India.
The collection, which includes womenswear, menswear,<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/loewe-lynda-benglis-collection" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> jewellery</a> and accessories, is imbued with Indian fashion ethos with a modern, global spirit. The collection will be launched in stores and online from September 5, 2024.
