Kendall Jenner Is the New Face of Tommy Hilfiger’s Spring/Summer 2024 Campaign

From classic crisp shirts to the brand’s iconic striped knits, Kendall and friends capture the timeless energy and fun of Tommy Hilfiger’s new collection.

Tommy Hilfiger is known for its time-honoured preppy all-American sense of style. For its Spring/Summer 2024 collection, the brand tapped supermodel and entrepreneur Kendall Jenner and her real-life friends to star in its campaign that aims to refresh the “Classic American Cool” aesthetic.

“I’ve known Kendall and her family for years and it has been remarkable to watch her rise through the fashion world,” says Tommy Hilfiger. “Kendall embraces friendships as family, radiating optimism and warmth not only in her style but also in the way she connects with people. It’s that spirited outlook that continues to inspire me to deliver iconic American style for the next generation.”

True enough, the overall vibe of the campaign is fun and dynamic and features Kendall soaking up the LA sun decked out in Tommy classics like a pin-striped button-down, a timeless LBD shirt dress, and a red polo shirt with the brand’s emblem. The overall colour palette is kept to the brand colours of red, white, and blue with the addition of highly wearable khakis and neutrals in the form of sports shirts, an everyday trench, jackets, and a logolized sweater.

“Tommy makes great classics, reimagined for today,” says Kendall Jenner. “Each year he takes timeless essentials, from the Oxford shirt to the blazer and polo, and makes them feel fresh and new. I’m so excited to be a part of his journey of modernizing the idea of Classic American Cool in this celebration of friendship.” But not only did the model bring her own contemporary view on the collection, but asked her real-life friends to join her for the campaign.

You may ask, “Who are a part of this cool tight-knit group?” The cast of Kendall’s friends includes musician and model Ebony Riley, model and singer Fai Khadra, actor and DJ Travis Bennett, model and designer Devon Lee Carlson, and high-school friend Hannah Logan. All wearing the quintessential pieces of a Hilfiger wardrobe, the campaign allowed the group to be themselves. Photographed by Renell Medrano, the images are less glossy and more candid—showcasing more relaxed and genuine vibe that perfectly captures the essence of the collection.

Based on the campaign alone, you can tell that the pieces exude a certain type of youthfulness that aims to resonate with the Gen Z and their love for versatile pieces that could be personalized in more ways than one.
