Eccentric, versatile and with a particular talent for music. If fashion is a passion, in music it is a war machine to the point of collaborating and producing artists such as Madonna , Justin Timberlake , Jennifer Lopez , Beyoncè and Britney Spears , together with whom in 2001 he produced " I'm a slave 4 you" and climbed the charts. To date, in his career he has won 13 Grammy's (remember being the Oscars of music), including that as producer of the year in 2004, 2014 and 2019 and in 2012 he was awarded the prestigious Golden Note Award by Ascap. He received two Oscar nominations, for the song " Happy" again in 2012 as best soundtrack in the film "Despicable Me" and for " Hidden Girls" (2016) as Best Motion Picture of the Year. In 2019 he received an Emmy nomination for his original song "Letter to My Godgather" for the documentary " The black Godfather" which tells the life of Clarence Avant, a fixed presence behind the scenes of American music, TV and politics. Last but not least in 2020 he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame for his work with The Neptunes.
