Schiaparelli’s reinvented basics at Paris Fashion Week
At Schiaparelli's Spring/Summer 2025 ready-to-wear show in Paris, Creative Director Daniel Roseberry paid tribute to all the women who have supported his creative vision and work at the House.
It was on the famous Place Vendôme that artistic director Daniel Roseberry invited his guests to discover Schiaparelli 's spring/summer 2025 collection . Despite the pouring rain, no one was missing — neither Kylie Jenner nor Léna Mahfouf — the House's show is one of the most anticipated for fashion aficionados each season. As expected, there were essential references to the surrealist world of Elsa Schiaparelli scattered here and there — like the lobster and keyhole motifs. On the catwalk, another Jenner sister, Kendall , paraded in an everyday uniform, revisited with a Schiaparelli twist: a low-rise jeans paired with a cream corseted bodysuit, a technical feat since it is actually a single piece attached to the waistband of the jeans and the hem of the bodysuit. Other iconic models come to enhance the designer's creations: Irina Shayk , Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel and Mona Tougaard, among others. The House's summer wardrobe surprises with its casual codes - jeans, sweaters and shirts - skillfully transformed by Schiaparelli into exceptional, extraordinary pieces, using unusual proportions and Elsa Schiaparelli 's famous patterns.
