La Prairie invites famous pastry chef Cedric Grolet to unveil his very first savory creation, a caviar-infused pastry. Or when luxury cosmetics meets gastronomy.
Committed to promoting art and creativity in different artistic fields, La Prairie is now interested in gastronomy. Thus, pastry chef Cedric Grolet, known for his trompe- l'oeil pastries , imagined an exclusive piece celebrating the new Caviar Luxe Skin Cream from La Prairie. Result ? A savory pastry that takes the shape of an egg, with its Comté Parmesan mousse, its runny egg yolk center, homemade blinis, and of course caviar, an emblematic ingredient found in La Prairie formulas . “Working alongside La Prairie was a remarkable experience,” commented the chef. “Their pursuit of excellence and attention to detail reflect my own approach to craftsmanship.” The caviar-infused pastry, which comes in a custom-made cobalt blue box, effectively embodies the fruit of the shared values of the two houses, but also their high level of performance .
