Indulge in Festive Delight with the Recipe for Delicious Christmas French Toast
To elevate the year-end celebrations, Rebecca Rohmer, the Chef at the helm of Riv'k restaurant, unveils her revamped French toast recipe infused with Christmas flavours, featuring chestnut cream and orange blossom.
For French toast.
Ingredients :
- A slice of brioche
- 2 eggs
- 20cl of soy milk
- 10g of butter
- 3 tbsp caster sugar
- 50g of milk chocolate
- 50g chestnut cream
- 10cL of orange blossom
- Marzipan Christmas decorations
- Praline
Preparation :
Mix the eggs and soy milk.
Soak your brioche in the mixture then set aside.
At the same time, melt the milk chocolate with the orange blossom and leave to cool.
- FOR COOKING BRIOCHE
In a pan, melt the butter and add the sugar.
Place the brioche and let it caramelize on both sides.
On a plate, place the brioche and spread the chestnut cream on all sides.
Keep the brioche in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to harden the cream.
- FOR FROSTING
Place the brioche on a rack and pour the melted milk chocolate over it.
Finishing:
On a plate, place the brioche and sprinkle it with praline on top.
You can add almond paste as a Christmas decoration.
