Spring Punch at Mandarin Garden Milan
Mandarin Garden celebrates spring with a boozy aperitif served in a Swarovski x Rosenthal tea service. And paired with sweet and savoury delicatessens.
The days are getting longer and the desire to fully enjoy them becomes stronger. The Mandarin Garden celebrates spring by opening its internal courtyard to a new ritual in the city: the Spring Punch. The creation of Guglielmo Miriello, Director of Mandarin Garden and expert mixologist, gives a nod to afternoon tea, but raising the alcohol content.
His is a light reinterpretation of the famous punch ("which is traditionally cold", he explains) a blend based on Tanqueray Ten Gin, pink grapefruit and basil shrub, pomelo and pink pepper tonic water, ingredients that give a twist lively and a sparkling fresh note.
It is served from 4 to 9 pm, accompanied by sweet and savoury miniature creations (also ton sur ton) in pastel-coloured porcelain from the Signum collection by Swarovski x Rosenthal which incorporate the brand's graphic elements, from the octagon (reminiscent the facets of the crystal) to the playful decorations on the knobs.
