The recipe for the Paloma cocktail, which offers us a one-way ticket to Mexico

Sweet, tangy, bitter, salty… the Don Julio Paloma cocktail offers a palette of flavours that makes it unique.

Equipment :

  • Highball glass
  • Flat plate for Tajín
  • Mixing spoon

Ingredients :

  • 40 ml of Don Julio Blanco
  • 120 ml grapefruit soda
  • 10 ml fresh lime juice
  • 10 ml of sugar syrup
  • Ice
  • Grapefruit slices for decoration
  • Tajín (Mexican mixture of prime rib, lime and salt) for the rim of the glass

Preparation :

PREPARATION OF THE GLASS

  • Pour a small amount of Tajín onto a flat plate.
  • Moisten the rim of the glass with a slice of lime.
  • Dip the rim of the glass into the Tajín so that it is well coated.

PREPARATION OF THE COCKTAIL

  • Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour the ingredients into the glass.

FINISHING

  • Stir gently to combine the ingredients.
  • Garnish with a grapefruit slice on the rim of the glass.
