The recipe for the Paloma cocktail, which offers us a one-way ticket to Mexico
Sweet, tangy, bitter, salty… the Don Julio Paloma cocktail offers a palette of flavours that makes it unique.
Equipment :
- Highball glass
- Flat plate for Tajín
- Mixing spoon
Ingredients :
- 40 ml of Don Julio Blanco
- 120 ml grapefruit soda
- 10 ml fresh lime juice
- 10 ml of sugar syrup
- Ice
- Grapefruit slices for decoration
- Tajín (Mexican mixture of prime rib, lime and salt) for the rim of the glass
Preparation :
PREPARATION OF THE GLASS
- Pour a small amount of Tajín onto a flat plate.
- Moisten the rim of the glass with a slice of lime.
- Dip the rim of the glass into the Tajín so that it is well coated.
PREPARATION OF THE COCKTAIL
- Fill the glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the ingredients into the glass.
FINISHING
- Stir gently to combine the ingredients.
- Garnish with a grapefruit slice on the rim of the glass.
