Dior Cactus Jack - Kim Jones prints invade collection
Traditional Maison Dior codes are reworked for Cactus Jack, in an explosion of prints by Kim Jones
Dior has codes and graphics worked with excellence during iconic collections. Kim Jones explored the famouse "toile de Jouy" in a unique and modern way, transforming it into a "toile de Cactus" in colors and shapes adapted to the Maison's ready-to-wear.
The world of skateboarding is the focus of inspiration where the already recognized "Dior hit the road" bags are reformulated in animal print, as well as the models present a mix of tailoring with the comfort of the sport.
The highlight is the famous B173 sneaker, which gains extra detail through the bold signature of "CD Diamong". All the concepts of this new collection are topped off with a touch of nostalgia for the 70s where skateboarding began, delivering a reinterpretation of flare pants and shorts explored in that decade.
