You may not have heard of Eclipse Season but you will have definitely experienced it!

<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/astrology-overview-what-s-in-store-for-us-in-2024-mercury-retrogrades-eclipses" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Eclipses</a> are cosmic disruptors that impact everyone, clearing a path to something better for our soul's evolution.
The life-altering events that take place during eclipses can be exciting and anticipated (for instance; weddings, births, career changes and relocations). Or, very unexpected and sometimes shocking.
If we consider the science, it&rsquo;s not so crazy to understand the impact eclipses have on us. On Earth we experience two types. They happen at Full and <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/pisces-new-moon-march-2024-astrology-alicia-orre" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New Moons</a>, usually in pairs. During eclipses, the regular exchange of energy that takes place between the Sun, Moon and Earth is disrupted. A (New Moon) Solar Eclipse is when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth - the Moon casting a shadow across the Sun. A (Full Moon) Lunar Eclipse is when Earth moves between the Sun and the Moon - Earth casting a shadow over the Moon.
I&rsquo;ve been studying eclipses and how to harness the dynamic energy for six years with incredible results. Keep reading for tips on how to rise above the chaos and increase the rapid flow of abundance in your life. Before I continue with that, I should explain that <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/astrology-february-2024-valentines-day-zodiac-signs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cosmic</a> energy does not align with our linear concept of time. Big events may not take place exactly on the day of the eclipse itself. I&rsquo;ve noticed that the intensity of energy starts to build from the beginning of the lunar cycle that contains the eclipse. Lives get very busy and scattered with lots of happenings and people or things wanting our attention. Then, we have two eclipses, two weeks apart - known as the eclipse window. Followed by a winding down of the energy to the next lunar cycle. So, in all a period of around 6-8 weeks. This is why it&rsquo;s valuable to pay attention to the themes and events occurring during this timeframe and not focus wholly on the eclipse dates themselves.
Following that, the eclipse points - the degree of the constellation at which the eclipses took place - can be triggered again by the moon or planets passing over that degree, and an eclipse-related life occurrence can manifest. This is what happened when I was born. A Full Moon Lunar Eclipse took place on 10 Feb at 20 degrees Leo. Three months later on 3 May, the moon crossed the February eclipse point for a third time and I was born (with my natal moon sign at 20 degrees Leo, aligning with my mum&rsquo;s natal North Node of destiny in her chart).
What&rsquo;s more, eclipses occur across an opposing axis of two astrological constellations over an 18-month period. Meaning that the personal themes impacted by eclipses play out over a longer time frame, and those are dependent on where the constellations are placed in your personal natal chart. Even before I started studying astrology 10 years ago, life altering events have taken place for me during Eclipse Season.
In 1994 my mum passed away unexpectedly during the November eclipses on 11.11. She was 52.
Within weeks of the October 2005 eclipse, I eloped to Las Vegas with my love, surprising our friends with the news afterwards.
Days after the April 2014 eclipse I left that marriage and my hometown of London for a new life in Ibiza.
More recently, during the November/December 2021 eclipses I booked a life-altering trip to Mexico (where I bought land a few months later). In the May 2022 eclipse season, I had emergency back surgery. Then, two weeks before the October eclipse last year I was announced as the official astrology columnist for L'Officiel Ibiza.
It was in 2018 that I first started using the energy intentionally to clear unhelpful habits and rapidly increase opportunity and the flow of abundance in my life.&nbsp;For six years I've been using eclipses to free myself EASILY from destructive habits like smoking, limiting beliefs, and toxic relationships. While also attracting a blissful lifestyle, healthier partnerships and incredible experiences travelling the world.
I've cracked the code to accelerate my ascent using these highly dynamic <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/take-a-pause-i-bet-you-don-t-know-this-about-mercury-retrograde" target="_blank" rel="noopener">astrological events</a>. I KNOW it works because I&rsquo;ve done it many times, and so have my clients. While the eclipse energy is chaotic and events can take us by surprise we can also use it to our advantage, harnessing this powerful energy to elevate and thrive.&nbsp;Imagine facing a stubborn situation that you KNOW needs to change but you don't know how to do it. Now imagine confidently moving through that same situation with more ease, because you are deliberately aligning with the planetary energy to assist you.

Like hiring your own personal cosmic guardian to back you up. In doing so, not only does the situation in question resolve smoothly but other unexpected things effortlessly fall into place. Of course, this can happen at any time but some times are better than others and who doesn&rsquo;t want the cosmos onside backing them up?



Here are some tips to help you rise above the chaos this eclipse season&nbsp;

 <li style="text-align: justify;">It&rsquo;s common to feel fatigued, overwhelmed, dizzy, flu-like symptoms and headaches during eclipses, and accidents are common, so take more time and don&rsquo;t over-schedule your diary.</li>
 <li style="text-align: justify;">Things that are no longer working for us on a <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/soul-spirituality/soul-mates-navigating-the-cosmic-connection" target="_blank" rel="noopener">soul level</a> can easily fall away during eclipses so dial into what it is you want to clear and take the aligned action towards that. I gave up smoking and drinking practically overnight with ease using this dynamic energy.</li>
 <li style="text-align: justify;">The more we resist the changes taking place, the more challenging it will be to move through the eclipses. When we surrender to what is unfolding and trust that it is for our greater good, I have found it is far easier to move on more quickly than at any other time.&nbsp;</li>
 <li style="text-align: justify;">Remember everyone is feeling the chaotic energy, even if they don&rsquo;t know what it is so give yourself and others more slack than usual. It&rsquo;s unwise to make hasty decisions and smarter to wait until the dust has settled.</li>
 <li style="text-align: justify;">Face unexpected challenges, disruption and blocks that stand in your way with grace and the belief that something better is on the other side. When confronted calmly without relying on worn-out coping mechanisms the manifestation process quickens.&nbsp;</li>
 <li style="text-align: justify;">It's common to know on a deeper level what needs to change, even if we recognise it will be complicated and may not want to. By listening to our inner guidance, we will be less surprised by the changes taking place than if we ignore it.</li>
</ul>


I can assure you, as we near the eclipses on 25 March and 8 April, big things are happening for your soul evolution right now. Maybe you know what that is, maybe it's happening behind the scenes. But it is happening so embrace and enjoy the ride.
