Romantic and imaginative, the glamorous Carnival of Giorgio Armani Privé
Geometric, glossy, playful. The Giorgio Armani Privé spring summer 2023 collection brings a contemporary Harlequin to the catwalk.
The second day of the Parisian week dedicated to Haute Couture concluded with the Giorgio Armani Privé fashion show. The king of fashion wanted to celebrate the characters from the Commedia dell'arte with prints, motifs, dresses that closely recalled the theatrical tradition. A game of shapes, textures and colors was staged to the tune of Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons , also citing the musical side of that Venetian cultural milieu in which the theatrical genre explored in the collection was formed.
The collection, renamed "Rondò Armaniano ", celebrates a rococo-glam party, through a color palette that includes shades of peony pink, turquoise, emerald green, blue. Sophisticated compositions, in line with the calm taste of the king of fashion, sometimes impalpable.
The evening dresses from the Giorgio Armani Privé Haute Couture collection , dominated by decorations, tulle ruffs, full and empty games, make the silhouette appear slender and proud. Wide necklines, bustiers, applied bows are variations on the main theme. But what makes the whole show bright is the glossy jubilation that overwhelms every garment in the collection, making it shine with its own light with pajettes and rhinestones applied almost everywhere.
In Giorgio Armani Privè 's romantic and at times rococo Carnival our mind gets lost in a thousand fantasies and the romantic but never melancholic spirit of the collection prompts us to dance until dawn in this geometric party given to us by the king of fashion.
