The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women , as we know, is of crucial importance especially in this particular historical moment. This is a unique opportunity to raise awareness and mobilize public opinion on the persistent challenge of gender violence. This day is celebrated on November 25th every year, and offers the opportunity to reflect on violations of women's rights, but also to promote concrete actions aimed at eradicating this unfortunately widespread phenomenon.

Precisely for this reason, Gucci, the well-known Italian fashion house, has launched a new initiative linking one of the latest creations of the new creative director Sabato De Sarno to this cause. Thus, the proceeds from the sale and pre-order of the new Gucci Signoria Rosso Ancora slingbacks will be allocated to the 'Casa delle Donne', a new project entirely dedicated to gender equality which will be inaugurated in Florence.

«When the path against gender violence becomes a message of commitment and courage».

These shoes , presented for the first time in September this year, become a symbol of the fight against feminicide and violence against women in Italy. An important message that perfectly embodies the creative vision of the new face of Gucci. The donation will support Nosotras Onlus, a fundamental association for the creation of the ' House of Women ' project in Florence. This place, designed as a meeting and discussion space for women, is yet another step that will showcase women's commitment to creating new paths of empowerment.

Jean-François Palus, President and CEO of Gucci, underlined how useful and significant it is in today's society to combine creativity with concrete actions like this. This initiative clearly aligns with the historic fashion house founded in 1921's global commitment to promoting women's rights, reflecting the mission of Gucci CHIME, a global campaign to support gender equality.
