Moschino, "Lost and Found"
Irony, playfulness, a great work on the Franco Moschino archive. Adrian Appiolaza at his second fashion show, creative direction of the Milanese fashion house with spring summer 2025.
The second Moschino fashion show designed by creative director Adrian Appiolaza is «an expression of the uniqueness of people» . The spring summer 2025 collection, entitled "Lost and Found" is «an exploration of exploration» . A search that starts from the chaotic world around us to find a dimension in which to be happy - a briefcase takes the shape of a heart because you should only do what you love. Appiolaza develops a theme, that of the journey, focusing not on the departure, nor on the arrival, but on the moment of transition between one and the other. A cathartic moment? Perhaps. Definitely fun. And of course, having fun in the oppressive world that surrounds us is no less important than thinking about the highest systems. Returning to the trip, the mention was a must. The Argentine designer brings to the catwalk a new version of the 1992 "Survival Jacket" , one of the cult pieces created by Franco Moschino .
The archive appears several times, but the success of this collection perhaps lies in not making the quote too didactic. In knowing how to create a dialogue between (beautiful) archive pieces and contemporaneity. Which is found through a fusion of genres and blurred boundaries for a wardrobe shared by all: a men's shirt can become a wedding dress. Traditions are broken, new identities discovered.
