Ibiza

Our Island: Ambar and Gonzalo, ceramic artists and founders of Bonnie's Studio.

Each week, Ibiza’s most fascinating residents share their tips on where to eat, drink, play and discover the unseen side of the island.

Maison Savannah, Calle de Catalunya, Ibiza Town.

They've only just opened but this will become a classic. Judit and Pierre give you the warmest welcome and the coffee is delicious. They have a variety of tostadas to choose from and most of their produce comes from their family's garden. They also bake their own pastries. The space is beautifully designed and decorated and is a perfect combination between a modern big city café and Ibiza's best products.

Daruma Ramen, Carrer de Vicent Serra y Orvay, Ibiza town.

Daruma is a cute little space we love going to when we want our ramen fix here on the island. One of the best vegan ramens we've ever tried and we've tasted them all over Europe. The place has a very homely feeling to it and the service is amazing.

Es Figueral, Calle Es Figueral, Es Figueral.

Our fave vegan restaurant on the island because the food they serve is so comforting and wholesome. But not in a fresh buddha bowl kind of way - more like lovely homemade moussaka (definitely order this if you go) and different types of pastas. It's the place we go on every special occasion.

Frederika Van Hagen/SAENT, facialist, Jesus.

If you're on the island and you're lucky enough to book with Freddie, she is absolutely the best. Her facials are so much more than just a facial. Apart from the obvious reason that it's so relaxing and she leaves you glowing and looking AMAZING, she really talks to you about your skin and she knows so much you could literally talk to her for hours. Also, her SAENT Facial Oil is just the best!

Chiringuito Pou des Lleó, Pou des Lleó.

Our favourite place to have drinks and get a little boozy! On Sundays we love to have a delicious paella at Hosatl Pou des Lleó, a traditional family-run restaurant, and after that walk down to the tiny cove and have some drinks at the chiringuito. There’s a great word in Spain - 'sobremesa' - which basically refers to the time you spend at the table after eating, just having some drinks and chatting. We love to have some nice cold frígola, which is an Ibicencan type of liquor, similar to hierbas but made with wild thyme.

Ibiza nature hikes with Naor.

Even though we were born and raised on the island, every time we hike with Naor we discover so many new and amazing things. Not only do you hike and get to see really cool places, but he tells you all about the history and flora you come across whilst walking. It's something we really enjoy doing, being in contact with nature, discovering new secret places and learning about our gorgeous home.

Pantastic, Calle de Castilla, Ibiza Town.

If you're looking for the best bread in town, it's here. And not just bread, their coffee and their brunch menu are delicious too. All their products are either local or national, the atmosphere is also so vibrant; no matter how busy it gets, they're always smiling and super happy to have you. Definitely a must if you're in town
