“SHINE” the new So Beast album
The duo's new album, BRILLA, released on March 31st breaks the boundaries of art, genres and language.
So Beast, a duo formed by producers and musicians Katarina Poklepovic and Michele Quadri, are back with their third album “BRILLA” released on March 31st by Needn't and La Tempesta and the Swiss label Blaublau. The album develops the story of a person suffering from anxiety and depression, of his ability to shine despite everything. A story that represents Nature as an imaginary and real escape route, inspired by the obsession with the realities provided by digital devices that influence our lives and inspire through continuous inputs.
The duo's new work mixes different genres, making them coexist in a balanced way: electronica, avant-garde, hip hop, hyperpop, post punk, jazz, contemporary, world music.
The fluidity of genres and languages, with a mix of English, Italian, Croatian and German, makes BRILLA an album with an international flavor and confirms So Beast's project: breaking categories, boundaries and genres.
Shining for So Beast is “accepting, being conscious and realistic and at the same time nurturing your optimism and fighting for the best. Fight politically, ecologically and emotionally. Giving others the privilege of learning through our presence how to be better off in this world. Sharing the message against discrimination, sexism, racism”.
So Beast break the boundaries of art, genres and language. They experiment, mix, unite and dialogue without ever imposing limits. All while always seeking a very high quality level and productions with an international footprint and they will be among the protagonists of Miami 2023 .
