There is a lot of talk about being prepared for summer, chasing the perfect body or even that flat bikini belly, but much more than that, the workouts that are booming guarantee a disposition and preparation of conditioning so that the body functions healthily in the most anticipated season of the year.

Bodytech 's technical director   Company   and physical education professional, Eduardo Netto told L' Officiel what's hot on the internet for the summer and made it clear, The important thing is to exercise!

Cross Training

Cross Training

With the goal of improving physical fitness and working on factors such as power, strength, endurance, agility, balance and coordination, Cross Training has three main characteristics: constant variation, with different workouts every day and personalized to the needs of each athlete; safe, effective and efficient functional movements that resemble those we do in our routine; and high intensity, with the purpose of challenging the practitioner to improve their physical fitness safely , says Eduardo Netto.

The activities are usually intense and the movements are inspired by those of the human body, which are natural (Functional Exercises). During the training sessions, different tools are used, such as weightlifting, kettlebells, gymnastics and cyclical activities such as rowing and cycling.

Cardio Burn

Cardio Burn

Cardio Burn is an exclusive Bodytech modality that combines rowing, running and functional training in a 30- minute high-intensity class. This is another new feature from BT that follows the trend of group classes, gamification and functional training. The high energy consumption and also the fact that, in the same workout, it stimulates the aerobic and muscular parts is what sets this class apart.

“All students use a heart rate monitor with their data: weight, age and gender, and this way it is possible to know how their fitness level is, which skills can be improved, and above all it allows for individualized training despite the collective environment”, he explains.

This modality is perfect for people who have little time to train and are looking for a different activity to improve their physical fitness. It is ideal for those who like challenges and are willing to overcome themselves. The activity uses body weight and enhances results using kettlebells, boxes, ropes, TRX, treadmill and Indoor Rowing. “In addition to being a quick workout, the great advantage is the high-intensity stimuli with short recovery,” he says.

Mobility Training

Mobility Training

In this practice, you will develop strength, flexibility and mobility through specific joint movements. These pillars are essential for maintaining joint health, restoring movement and preventing pain. This type of stimulus can have a major influence on your performance, functional or sports results. Without mobility, all of the body's mechanics are compromised.

The benefits of these mobility exercises, listed by the physical education professional are: Injury prevention, improvement in movement patterns and consequently improved performance in proprioception.

BT Combine

BT Combine

BT Combine was designed in partnership with CORE 360. Netto says that it is a movement program, which aims to explore the issue of improving functional strength, core, mobility, agility, speed and, therefore, physical capabilities . All of this based on 3 pillars:   Mobility, Agility/Speed and Strength.

The program was designed for young people and adapted so that they can get the most out of training and, most importantly: move and feel healthier and perform better in their daily tasks and sports. Classes are composed of: Core and Mobility 15', Agility and Speed 10' and Functional Strength 20'.
