The richness of details is the strong point of the work of these professionals, who have become a kind of interior miniature designer.
The sky's the limit for decor, with Christmas themes or details that inspire a miniature life. You can dream with your eyes open and travel in your imagination.
miniatures in jewelry
Some brands symbolize much more than a product, but a lifestyle for those who use it. This is the case of the Prada bags, which gained their miniature versions in earrings and pendants, in addition to the Jacquemus, with its Le Chiquito mini bag, in the form of a jewel. Chloé also entered the fashion of miniatures and transformed the Paddington bag, with its famous padlock shape, into an earring. The meticulous work on the miniatures is luxurious and brings personality and glamour to the look.
The French Hermès also invested in the trend, with the pink gold and diamond pendant that is the miniature of the Birkin bag. Fendi's Baguette model and the iconic Chanel 2.55 also won their miniature versions, with powerful details.
mini speed
For car lovers, size doens't matter. Will it be? For some collectors, the best vehicles are miniature ones. Children love to collect cars, but is it adults who invest more time and money in this hobby. Ever thought of a collection of super detailed and luxurious race cars to call your own?
The British company Amalgam Collection, which began its work with architectural models, saw the market for miniature cars as a promising scenario, rich in opportunities. Today, it manufactures miniature racing and super sports cars. The level of detail is professional, and on models that are available on the market, the work is done based on CAD files, provided by the manufactures themselves. Each car has more than 2,000 pars, assembled by hand, with the stages of modeling, machining, casting and painting, as in normal-sized cars. The complete process takes approximetly 350 hours.
In miniatures of classic vehicles, the work is even more detailed, as the artisans need to use thousands of photos to create moulds that will be used in the construction of the mini-vehicle. In this case, the entire process can last up to 4,000 hours of 1:8 scale miniatures. The prices do justice to the richness of detail and the exquisite work of the artisans: a 1:8 scale of the Red Bull RB15, for example, costs an average of US$ 7,665, while a Bugatti Chiron reaches US$ 11,485.
famous collectors
Every now and then, some television show discovers a very interesting collection of celebrities. This is the case of actor and presentor Tiago Abravanel, who does not save when it comes to collecting. Upon arrival at home, the visitor is faced with a huge door with acrylic deviders, which accommodate 210 Funko Pops, from their collection of more than 800, organized by color. Tiago also collects dolls and plush toys from the Care Bear cartoon.
The dream of collecting Barbie dolls is a reality for the actor Johnny Depp, who began to love dolls when his children were small and later perfected his collection, which includes very expensive dolls, special editions, such as Destiny's Child, Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan. Actress Demi Moore also collects dolls, in a collection valued at more than US$ 2 million, which began with a porcelain doll and realistic features, presented by her then-husband, actor Bruce Willis.
The taste for luxury miniatures is very democratic and has no limits on price or imagination. What is most impressive are the details of the pieces; perfection is such that it is as if they come to life. Tables set with luxurious porcelain, furniture worthy of antique dealers, sophisticated picture frames, utensils and peculiar pieces of clothing, such as compression stockings, bring a touch of reality that enchants.
