A creative tour to discover the beauties of Italy which this season stops in Mantua , a small historical center but a great nerve center for art, history and culture. In fact, Virgilio's birthplace becomes the heart of Gabriele Pasini 's collection for next season, as well as his adopted city thanks to the collaboration with Lubiam . Two places have been chosen by the designer as the common thread of the project, which embraces womenswear and menswear: the Sala dei Giganti, in the splendid setting of Palazzo Te, and the Camera degli Sposi in Palazzo Ducale, a jewel with a Renaissance taste, frescoed by Andrea Mantegna. The choice of these two places guided, in particular, the definition of the chromatic variety that accompanies the garments: peacock blue, saffron yellow, antique pink. In a precious symphony of important totalities. Which also explores the beauty of madras, symbol of the union of two cultures, English and Indian (the light cotton fabric with a typically patterned weave and Scottish design, takes its name from the ancient denomination of the city of Chennai, in the south of 'India, ed.). «Madras is a magnificent and imperfect fabric» , explains Gabriele Pasini, who played by combining the rigor of multicolor squares with an explosion of florals. Developing the concept of "WO-man", as Pasini defines a woman who prefers masculine combinations and a man who explores a universe of elegant eccentricity.
