Neil Barrett, the return to the catwalk with spring summer 2024
After a few years of hiatus, Neil Barrett returns to show during Milan Fashion Week with the men's spring summer 2024 collection.
Neil Barrett's spring summer 2024 collection is a return to both the Milan Fashion Week catwalk and the brand's aesthetic codes. A return "beautiful, even if I must confess not easy. But I'm really happy with this collection and the show", Neil Barrett told us backstage, visibly excited. Minimalism - which he pioneered in the 90s -, precision, love of materials, obsession with details are the ingredients of a uniform collection, with character, ultimately successful.
Constantly at odds, the garments share a purpose and a duty, designed for function, meant for everyday life. Formal tailoring becomes informal by loosening up the fit. The precision of a base, a simple strip of white, becomes the graphic leitmotif of the collection. More squared silhouettes, proposed in new fabrics, elevated and rethought. The colour palette includes shots of lime green, lemon, yellow and pale blue, alongside a palette of greys and nut brown as the new black.
