Marina Abramović Celebrates Her Nomadic Spirit With Massimo Dutti at Miami Art Week

In addition to the worldwide success of her art, recently after being spotted during the Milan fashion weeks, Paris officially entering the sights of the fashion system. A collaboration that celebrates the bond with the art of the Inditex group brand with an exhibition that retraces 40 years of Massimo Dutti.
NOMADIC JOURNEY AND SPIRIT OF PLACES
Starting from Marina Abramović's latest work, "Nomadic Journey and Spirit of Places", a publication that analyzes her nomadic life and her creative process with a collection of archive documents, poems and personal reflections. «My home was everywhere I went, because my home was my own body" explains the artist about the project. Made with meticulous attention to detail and printed on high quality paper, it tells his universe by transforming his hotel notebooks and temporary spaces into symbols of artistic reflection.
"Purity, movement, mortality, lightning, nomad" these are the words that Marina Abramović pronounces in the teaser that announces the collaboration on Massimo Dutti's social media accounts. And for the occasion the artist will present an exhibition at the Faena Art Project Room in Miami from December 5 to December 8 "Nomadic Journey and Spirit of Places" invites visitors to delve into Marina Abramović's creative practice, through previously unseen archival works, poetry and reflections spanning four decades of artistic exploration.
These works are collected in a coffee table book, offering a glimpse into the artist's creative process. With exceptional attention to detail, the book reproduces hotel notebooks and spaces of deep artistic reflection, transforming them into symbols of her creative path. Presented in collaboration with Massimo Dutti, this volume represents a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the universe of Marina Abramović.

A pioneer of contemporary performance art, Marina Abramović has transformed the way art explores the limits of the body and mind. With iconic works such as Rhythm 0 (1974), in which the audience could interact with her using potentially dangerous objects, Imponderabilia with her partner and artist Ulay, and The Artist is Present (2010) at MoMA, a performance that explored the power of human connection through the gaze. Marina Abramović was an artist who redefined the concept of performance as an art form. Winner of the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale in 1997 for Balkan Baroque.
