Jacquemus will show in Capri at Villa Malaparte

Villa Malaparte on Capri reopens on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the brand founded by Simon-Porte Jacquemus. On June 10th, the French designer's men's and women's autumn winter 2024-25 creations will be on show.

Still fresh from his last spring summer 2024 show "Les Sculptures" at the Fondation Maeght , Simon-Porte Jacquemus returns to focus on the excellence of the locations for the presentation of his fashion shows. The date set for the parade is June 10, 2024 , and the location chosen is Villa Malaparte in Capri . On this occasion the founder of the Jacquemus brand will celebrate his 15th anniversary in the red villa.

Standing above Capo Massullo, rock formations with a view of the stacks, Villa Malaparte is a private home designed in 1938 by the writer and exponent of literary expressionism and Italian neorealism, Curzio Malaparte . It is considered one of the masterpieces of modern architecture, representing a wonderful example of integration between rationalist modernity and the natural environment. Among the influences emerge the masterpieces of rationalist architects , the villa is an architectural jewel that appears in films such as "Contempt" by Jean-Luc Godard or "La pelle" by Liliana Cavani.

Accessible from the sea thanks to a staircase positioned on the narrow bristling promontory, Villa Malaparte is a location not open to the public - in history, the red villa has been reserved for very few events and parades and with one exception - since today it is still owned by the heirs of the literary. All that remains is to wait until June 10th, to see the next Jacquemus autumn winter 2024-25 fashion show , once again in a sensational location, a rationalist masterpiece and icon of Italian architecture.
