On November 19, the 13th edition of the Governors Awards was held in Los Angeles, kicking off the unofficial awards season. The opportunity for Hollywood stars to shine on the red carpet, dressed in memorable gala dresses. Top of the list? Actress Jennifer Connely , who opted for a custom-made dress signed Louis Vuitton , of which she is muse.
Inspired by the futuristic silhouettes that opened the last Spring-Summer 2023 show imagined by Nicolas Ghesquière , the long-sleeved model includes a top in textured viscose jersey, while the bottom of the dress is available in fluid and light jersey. Like the main inspiration of the show, the oversized details, the zipper of this exceptional model is oversized in the back.

But most impressive are undoubtedly the more than 800 handmade ruched pleats, as well as the 10 meters of lightweight jersey used for the bottom of the dress and 3 meters for the top. In total, more than 200 hours of tailoring went into this breathtaking dress. A meticulous work, perpetuating the know-how of the house, and its heritage.
