«The Dualism of Milan», the fashion show that presented the new Pomellato High Jewellery collection
During the evening, 12 models presented the new High Jewellery creations, allowing guests to appreciate the details of each design. A tribute to the craftsmanship and design of Milan. «This is a unique collection of 52 pieces handmade by our 100 master goldsmiths» , explains Sabina Belli , CEO of Pomellato , «which celebrates the dualism of Milan». What do you mean by dualism? «If you know Milan a little, you understand that it is at the same time a very quiet city, very snobbish if you like, austere, with all its beiges, its greys, its black and white, very minimal, with a very strong".
Yet Milan is also the colourful Milan to drink, as we said in the 70s or 80s, when it was all a party during the Milan Fashion Week at Principe Savoia, at Nepenta, at Plastic, where everyone drank spritz, Negroni, enjoying the good life" . A Milan that is certainly more colourful... «We could draw a parallel with the Dolce Vita, although perhaps Milan had a more cultural ferment, I mean, and above all a very colourful one». «Half the collection pays homage to the bold Milan, and the other half embodies the Milan behind the scenes» .
