At Men’s Paris Fashion Week , Rick Owens ’ autumn/winter 2025-26 collection captured the spotlight, moving away from the horror codes often associated with his past designs to a more sensual and daring aesthetic . Titled Concordians , the autobiographical line draws inspiration from the designer’s constant travels to Concordia, a small industrial village in Italy where his factory is located. On the runway, Owens’ essence took shape through sharp silhouettes, raw warehouse lighting, and models wearing black contact lenses, but with an unexpected touch of sensuality. Plunging necklines, harnesses, and rope pieces (a nod to his nomadic spirit) took center stage, radically scaling back sex appeal while retaining the designer’s dystopian spirit. From bleached alligator shirts to laser-cut chain skirts in collaboration with Matisse Di Maggio, each piece seemed to fuse Owens’ industrial rigor with a quest for subtle eroticism. The work on accessories also reinforced this vision, notably through the famous boots, reimagined this season with leather fringes and a laser-cut structure in partnership with Parisian designer Victor Clavelly. Other highlights of the show, cowhide collars and a custom black leather Rimowa handbag added a singular luxurious aspect, while highlighting the designer’s nomadic and adventurous soul. Once again, Rick Owens successfully married innovation and heritage, appealing to an audience that is both demanding and eager for new forms of expression.
