Elegance Incarnate: Natasha Arben's Digital Cover Story
Natasha Arben, an international model and celebrity, has illuminated renowned red carpets and now graces the digital cover of L'Officiel, embodying elegance and style.
Natasha, you are a ballet dancer and currently training at the Royal Academy of Dance in South West London. How did you become a dancer?
I have always loved ballet and started lessons at a young age. I have continued it and it is now a passion - there is always something new to learn and progress to be made. I love to train and enjoy the beauty and grace of the art.
You are a gamer and have been active on the platform “Twitch” – quite successfully! Why do you think you amassed as many followers as you did in a short amount of time? Do you feel women are underrepresented in gaming?
I enjoyed gaming with friends as a hobby and then during the Covid lockdown I decided to try “live streaming” as a profession. I had already amassed a large following on other social platforms so it was easy to transfer the viewership across to Twitch. “Streamers” fall into two main categories, “Entertainers” and “Competitors”. Competitors play tournaments and competitions, whereas I just streamed my game play for entertainment purposes. There are quite a few women breaking the mould on Twitch, but yes, it is still very much a male dominated environment.
You also started modelling quite recently and had an engagement for red carpet at the Film Festive in Cannes… is this something you want to pursue more in the future?
I love modelling, and obviously seeing my sister’s amazing success in the industry has made me so proud and inspired me to follow in her footsteps.
You and your sister, Olivia, are very close. Tell us a little about your relationship!
Yes, Olivia and I are very close! We have similar interests, such as fashion, and whilst we have different approaches to things, we do seem to compliment each other and have a lot of fun in the process.
What are your future plans regarding your career? Do you have any exciting upcoming projects you would like to tell us about?
In terms of modelling, I have a number of exciting projects coming up such as product and brand collaborations that I hope to be able to share soon. In terms of dancing, I hope to continue to improve and perform to the highest level I can.
