The 280th anniversary of the champagne house LVMH was marked by the launch of a new vintage, the Collection Impériale Création No. 1, as part of the new Collection Impériale line. This new addition blends seven different vintages to create a multi-layered champagne. Moët & Chandon plans to release a new creation every two years until the brand's 300th anniversary, meaning the launch of this line is a step toward greater celebration and an affirmation of the brand's ability to innovate .

To mark this launch, Moët & Chandon collaborated with contemporary artist Daniel Arsham to create a new work and a special edition bottle case for the occasion. Arsham's new work was inspired by the stained glass windows in the Moët & Chandon cellar, which he discovered while spending time in the château's wine cellar with cellar master Benoît Gouez. The final piece is a sculptural interpretation of the collection, adorned with motifs from the castle itself, as well as cherubs and trumpets. The four-part sculpture will soon be returned to the castle and installed near the window that inspired the work.

The launch celebration included a dinner attended by the cellar master, along with Arsham and guests from the cellar. A meal prepared by Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno was served to guests at the Hôtel de Bourrienne, an 18th-century hotel known for hosting Napoleon. As part of the launch, only 5,000 bottles of the Imperial Creation Collection No. 1 will be produced, as well as 28 limited edition bottles created by Arsham.
